Acrylic Wash

I learned how to layer the washes a little better.  I'm still not great at it but it's a start. I also realized that one of the reason my tape might be coming up randomly is that, when I wet the paper to do the wash I might be soaking the tape too much.  I'm not sure how to keep from wetting the tape.

Experimenting with Pen and Ink

I learned that I can create the illusion of shadow by making my thin lines closer together.  I feel I am also getting better at crosshatching with the dip pen.  the first picture is not my drawing of course, it was my reference.

Improvement?

Started out with some oval and line practice then practiced cylinders.  I learned a lot about cylinders like the widest point on a cylinders ends is at a right angle to the center line.  I'm still having a bit of trouble with the cylinders.  I'll be working on that.

This quiz reminded me how unconfident my line work is.  So that's what I'll be working on.
